Full version in development!
SPLICE CORE (Jam Build) » Devlog
Hey everyone,
I've decided to work on the full version of SPLICE CORE!
It will feature:
- Many more levels
- Several new mechanics
- Multiple level hubs
- Enhanced visuals
- An improved difficulty curve
Development is coming along quite nicely so far, but I'm not ready to reveal any specifics yet. I'm planning to come back with a bigger update in about a month, so please stay tuned!
You can join my discord server to get more updates, offer suggestions, and eventually playtest the game if you're interested.
Thanks!
P.S. Another big thanks to everyone who played my game, voted, offered feedback, and gave incredible encouragement during the Acerola Jam. Massive thanks to the judges as well. The whole thing was an amazing experience.

Just saying, there's a strange bug to do with the two beams where they can sometimes just become separated after doing a pulse that unfolds space. As in, you can just push half of it and it won't act as a rigid 2x2 box anymore, and the crystal(?) in the centre of the boxes can become displaced. I found that this happened the most in the 8th level, δ. If you keep folding and unfolding space, then you can just keep pushing the parts of the beams further and further apart, as well as displace the crystal as much as you want. I was even able to get out of the level using this.
Here's what I did to make it happen again. (Circles represent pulses)

It's rather inconsistent, but you can see how this could happen in casual play (e.g., if you are trying to simply push the whole box up, and then suddenly it separates)
Hi BerryGo. Thanks a lot for this info. I’ve only been able to reproduce this bug a few times myself, so this is helpful. I’m planning on releasing an update for this version of the game (hopefully with a fix for this issue) around when the Steam page for the full version is finished, and I’ll be referencing this :)
hey, that's great news! looking forward to the full version:))
